Dynamic conditions reporting on routes, mountains or areas

I would like a special section on the primary object types for conditions reports updates. Let's say I attempt one of Chad's mountains, but miss the summit due to closed trailhead, rockslide, or deep snow. It would be nice to have an area where temporary conditions of the mountain/route/area can be readily updated by members. Even a nice green (default), yellow (alert) or red (no can do) indicator on the main object page could alert page visitors to an issue which may impact their visit.

Currently summit logs and updates sections do an insufficient job of fulfilling this need.

Keep your votes for the other ideas :)
By the way, thats an applicable idea for the whole summitpost to people who are vote-addicted: limited amount of votes :D

Part of my thinking for a wiki section on each page was so that this could be done. I like the idea but ran out of votes :-(

An idea how to do it easily: each mountain has a "current conditions" section where everyone can write, like.... wikipedia :)
Of course the one who writes "trek nepal for $500" in this place is banned immediately...

Also, such updates should appear in the What's New section, even if as a streaming banner.
